nutshell

the sea of clouds is a cold mountainous map marked by unusual humidity, fertile soil, permafrost, runoff, and a wide range of plant, insect, and mammal life. its major settlements are cloud breach castle in the east and thunderspire in the north, with smaller settlements and outposts spread across the map.

older snow hall transit infrastructure runs beneath parts of the map, though much of it is now abandoned. near the center lies an abandoned snow hall haven once occupied by bug folk from the south, now overrun by ice drakes and wolf ants.
